wow, its been a while since i last blogged. and since its been a while, i'll make this a long one.

this past labor day weekend, my cousin's family (brian, kathy, owen, conner, and molly) was in town and we hung out with them for a bit.
we haven't seen them since zuki's baby shower, and we were surprised how mature owen has become. when we last saw him, he was running around and screaming. now he takes care of his younger siblings and is totally mellow.

earlier in june, ricky, linda, emily, and vince came down to visit. we just kicked it, went to some parks, and ate.

for zuki's birthday, we took her to an indoor play park. it was filled with a bunch of climbing structures, slides, and riding toys.

the month of july and august has been pretty crazy. i had two interviews, and one offer, which was later retracted. we quickly planned a premature celebration vacation to vegas when i heard about the offer. ah wells, we had fun anyways.

we went to a outlet and had dinner at a japanese buffet called Makino. the sushi was great, but the hot food was okay. if you like to try different types of sushi, its worth going.

we decided zuki can enjoy herself on this mini vacation. yep, that's broccoli.

zuki's first try at kakigori (shaved ice). she was shocked at her first bite because she didn't know it was cold. but after that, she ate the whole thing.

zuki loves to play in those pay amusement rides at the mall. too bad we're too cheap to put money in them. ah wells, she'll never know.

my cousin told us about this free water park outside of the strip. we decide to treat zuki to it. and it was not just a couple of spouts that shoot up water from the floor. this place was pretty big, and very nice on a hot day.

zuki was kinda shy about the water, but after a few sprays, she loved it.

i wasn't expecting to go in and wasn't dressed for it. but zuki pulled me in and a couple of times i got caught with some big sprays.

at the end of the day, zuki was soaked from head to toe.

we had dinner at buca di pepo for zuki's favorite, pasta.

the so's came down a couple of weeks ago for a quick visit. had some park time, some meals, and good times.

zuki likes to take my old ipod nano and pretend its a cell phone. we have no idea where she got the idea to do it. probably watching the parents and nannies at the park.
