if you've been watching the news, you've heard that northern LA has a few hill fires going on. the news stations state the fire fighters has them under control and so far, only one house has been lost to the fire. last night, while trying to sleep in the hot weather, it smelled like smoke the whole night. i think the winds have been carrying the smoke and ash down south. so much for planning to wash my car this weekend.

as i was just watching the news, they just reported that burbank has a new hill fire going on. i decided to look outside my window to see what direction it was at, and to my surprise, its just outside the window. don't worry, its still really far away. the 5 freeway is between us and the fire. i just hope it doesn't affect my commute to work. i better leave early today.
